The Champion

"Siri" Salido, 31, will bring a 37 - 11 - 2 record to the ring with him. His win over Lopez in April 2011 shocked the featherweight division, as he simply overwhelmed then WBO World Champ Lopez.

Salido will once again look to put on the same power-punching display that saw him win the WBO crown.

 The Challenger

"Junma" Lopez, 28, has a 31 - 1 record, with his solitary defeat coming as a big surprise to the boxing world. He simply could not live with Salido's powerful right hands, and will have to box clever if he's to avoid a repeat of last April's eighth round knockout.

Lopez was rocked by Salido in the sixth, but continued to attempt to out-punch his unfancied opponent. A volley of heavy right hands from the Mexican challenger was enough to end the fight just two rounds later, and Puerto Rican Lopez will know he needs a smarter game plan this time around.

The two met in April last year when the Mexican Salido travelled to Puerto Rico and sensationally ended the fight in the eighth to win the WBO World title from home favourite Lopez.

11 months on and Lopez will be looking to avenge his only career defeat to date and to win back the WBO crown that he lost after he failed to make the count and the fight was ended prematurely.
